“One size fits all” is the usual explanation. Well, that cannot possibly be true, can it? So does it mean it fits most people? Maybe it fits most people in Korea, even then a question can be raised.
I believe the essence is the word “Free”. How the clothing will look is up to you. If you have a smaller build, you can wear it loosely, or the Korean style. If you are a fan of Korean TV drama, you will notice the people usually wear over-sized clothing.
If you have a wider shoulder, clothing will look more fitted. With the same piece of clothing, you can look completely different. This can be achieve with the design of lower shoulder line.
Koreans are very thoughtful. They include spandex in many of the clothings. This way, you can make use of the stretch if you need to.
At the end, “free size” has its limitation. Average fit will be to shoulder width of 20”. Mannequin in the photos is size medium.
